Rates

  • Standard Rates

The rate per session is dependent on individual versus family therapy and is based off of standard rates of therapy within California. I always inform clients of my rate during our initial contact.

  • Sliding scale

I do offer a limited number of sliding scale slots in my practice. Please discuss this with me during our free 15 minute consultation.

FAQs

How do I get started?

Your first step is to call or email me so we can discuss your particular concerns in detail. Once we determine if I am a good fit for you, we can schedule an initial appointment. During the first appointment, we will review you and/or your family’s history and current situation, and discuss what is working and what is not.  At the conclusion of this session, we will discuss a plan for how I can best support you. Please remember that therapy is not intended to last forever. I am glad to discuss your goals in therapy and ways to ensure finances do not limit your ability to invest in you.

Do you accept insurance?

While I do not provide insurance billing, if you would like to submit a bill to your insurance provider, I will give you a receipt of services with all of the necessary information and your plan can reimburse you directly. You may want to check with your insurance to see if you have "out-of-network" or "non-participating provider" benefits.  Your insurance company can tell you what portion of my fees they will reimburse to you and whether you have a deductible that needs to be met before they begin reimbursement.

Are you accepting new clients?

YES! I am currently accepting new clients.  Please note my schedule only has a certain number of afternoon/evening appointments, so please ask me to see if any are available at times that work for you. If needed, I do maintain a waiting list or I can refer you elsewhere if appropriate.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, debit or credit cards.
