individual therapy
Navigating our lives and individual experiences can be tough. If you’re looking for additional support during a particularly difficult time, therapy can be a safe, confidential space to process your current crisis. Whether you’re transitioning in your role (becoming an adult, a new parent, experiencing an end or beginning of a relationship), or finding things difficult to not think about, working one-on-one can be a powerful tool to gain insight and grow with unconditional support. We often move through our day-to-day lives with patterns we have developed over a lifetime, so challenging these patterns takes work. I offer a space for you to look at all areas of your life and decide for yourself if there is something you want to change or not.
I have direct experience working alongside first responders as a medical social worker in a local hospital. I offer confidential support to all first responders and medical providers. Working in the medical field can be extremely taxing, and sometimes, it is just helpful to talk with someone who knows what you’re going through. The long-term effects of giving care during medical and mental health crises can cause numerous effects on your life, relationships, and your overall health. Counseling can help alleviate burnout or simply give you a space to talk about your unique experiences.
